Programming Users - Overview

To complete programming for telephone users:

  1. Create user profiles for users of display IP telephones by using one of two methods:

  2. Create profiles with the User Authorization Profiles form— use this method if you are modifying or adding a small number of user profiles.

  3. Create profiles with the User and Services Configuration form— use this method if you are modifying or adding a large number of user profiles.

  1. Program the telephone:

  2. analog telephones

  3. single line IP telephones

  4. multiline IP telephones

  5. 5240 IP Phones

  6. Symbol NetVision MiNET phones

  7. IP DECT Wireless phones

  1. Register the IP telephones.

  2. Complete the Telephone Directory form.

  3. Set up mailboxes.
